Her career is marked by substantial contributions to mergers & acquisitions (M&A), where she manages
due diligence processes and drafts critical agreements, including shareholder purchase agreements and
corporate governance documents. Rita also provides comprehensive legal support to companies,
ensuring seamless corporate operations by overseeing resolutions, powers of attorney, and regulatory
filings.
Rita’s dispute resolution work spans diverse sectors such as energy, construction, and international
employment. She has been part of counsel teams and served as tribunal secretary in arbitrations
conducted under leading institutional rules like UNCITRAL, ICSID, ICC, and DIAC. Her expertise extends
to intellectual property, estate planning, and UAE employment law, where she crafts tailored solutions for
her clients.
Beyond her legal acumen, Rita brings over a decade of experience in project management, strategy, and
business development, leveraging skills honed in fields as varied as pharmaceuticals, diplomatic
relations, and international trade policy. Her academic achievements include advanced degrees in law
