Nassau, New Providence – The year 2022 has already been one of exciting change and expansion for ParrisWhittaker. Earlier this year, they announced a new location in Turks and Caicos, as well as a new Partner in George C. Missick. Now, they’re thrilled to announce the opening of new Amsterdam offices in The Netherlands.

The new offices are perfectly located in the Mahler 4 Office Tower in Amsterdam’s Zuidas District and in the bustling Financial District. Partners Jacy Whittaker and A. Kenra Parris-Whittaker will now operate in both the Amsterdam and Bahamas locations, ensuring that the needs of both client bases are consistently met.

“We have been working towards this for two years and we couldn’t be happier that the day has officially arrived,” said Jacy Whittaker, Partner at ParrisWhittaker.

“This is such an exciting time, and it’s the perfect time for ParrisWhittaker’s international expansion. Our new offices in Amsterdam will help us meet the growing demand for a presence in this area.”

The team at ParrisWhittaker saw a definite need to be more accessible to their European clients during the pandemic. Amsterdam is the gateway to the rest of the western world with crucial routes (by air and by sea) flowing through this area. With the new Amsterdam presence, they are uniquely positioned to meet the local need for:

Commercial litigation
Shipping & Maritime Law
Offshore Private Client

“We now have a physical presence in this area, which means we can finally meet with our clients in person and have more meaningful strategic conversations,” said Whittaker.

ParrisWhittaker will proudly continue to offer a full range of second-to-none legal services from their locations in The Bahamas, as well as Turks and Caicos and the European offices will act as a strategic hub for its offering in the Bahamas & Latin America.
